The AGV Pista GP RR is an exact replica of the AGV helmet used by champions in the World Championship. It has, therefore, received the new FIM homologation, which certifies the highest possible level of protection, even against any dangerous head twisting. The Extreme Carbon shell in 100% carbon fibre guarantees extraordinary lightness, superior comfort, and aerodynamics. (1.450 g in first shell size) Its sleek silhouette and metal air vents were studied in AGV's wind tunnel and tested by AGV athletes to ensure the best aerodynamic penetration and the most excellent stability at high speeds, also due to the innovative profile of the rear PRO Spoiler.
Four shell sizes give the perfect fit, prevent buffering, and ensure a lightweight fit. It also has four sizes of 5-density EPS for enhanced aerodynamics and features a collarbone-safe profile. The shell and EPS structure are designed to minimise rotational accelerations (FIM homologated). Boasting 5 mm thickness, the optical class 1 Ultravision visor is an integral part of the protector that allows 190-degree panoramic vision. This gives the rider superior vision for maximum safety.
It also offers a micro-opening system with a metal visor mechanism for durability with AGV's patented Extra Quick Release System and its patented and proven visor lock system. AGV's exclusive 360-degree Adaptive Fit system allows for complete interior customisation, allowing the rider to select the ideal thickness for the upper part of the head, nape and cheeks for optimum comfort. 2Dry instant sweat absorption and Microsense breathability keep you comfortable at all times, and it is fully removable and washable. A breathable neckroll with waterproof inserts gives enhanced comfort and protection from the elements, and there are no stitches in sensitive areas. The Pista GP-RR even has the facility to add a hydration system and comes with a tear-off kit.A removable nose guard and removable wind protector are handy additions. The detachable PRO spoiler gives added versatility for rider preference and even offers race suit fitment for optimum protection. As you would expect from a track helmet, the first-class ventilation system has five front vents and two rear extractors for exceptional airflow, with metal air vents and extractors for robustness.
The closure system is a titanium double D ring for maximum security and adjustability for the perfect fit. Available in a choice of colours and designs, this is the red carbon colourway.
