Mercedes A45 Carbon Fibre Double Diffuser - Matte Finish. The facelift A45 has a great looking "black series" style diffuser from factory, the only downside is the gloss black finish hides a lot of the great styling and masks it's true aggression. Here at Carbonwurks we felt obliged to do something about that by producing a complete replacement carbon fibre version and so we offer the A45 carbon fibre double diffuser.
When it comes to carbon fibre parts there is a wide variety and range of production methods and materials. This double diffuser is produced using 100% prepreg carbon fibre which is cooked under immense pressure for several hours to give an incredibly strong and yet super light part. There is no stronger and lighter carbon available on the market, the diffuser really is made to Formula 1 standards and would not look out of place on a super or hypercar.
You cannot produce or make carbon fibre to a better quality anywhere in the world. Once the diffuser has been pulled from the mould, it goes through further preparations before being finished off in a high gloss lacquer (or matte lacquer). The carbon has further checks before it is machine and hand polished and treated to a very high content carnauba wax. Fitment is a straight replacement for the standard diffuser on the facelift A45.
The diffuser can be retrofitted to other A classes but please note that you will have to retrofit the A45 exhaust tips and possibly modify your existing exhaust tips/backbox. If the parts are in stock then dispatch usually can be the same or next day. Some parts however can be ordered on backorder but may take anywhere from 1-5 weeks to dispatch due to manufacturing times. We send all of our products using insured and tracked methods so there are no concerns for you if any products are lost or damaged in transit. Q What happens if my order is lost or damaged by the courier in transit?
