Scott CR1 Team Full Carbon 54cm Road Bike (with upgrades) under 8Kg
Welcome to my sale for a much loved Scott CR1. It is an incredibly lightweight bike, with current wheels and saddle weighs in at 7.9Kg (with Dura Ace 1380's it was under 7.5kg), it's very fast and comfortable too! It benefits from now being 11 speed with the addition of Ultegra 6800 shifters combined with Dura ace 7800 crank with 170mm arms and 52/39 rotor rings added. The brakes are Dura Ace 7800's, Bontrager Carbon seat post, FSA Carbon bars and 105 pedals. Solid Mavic Kysrium wheelset with new 25mm Conti Grand Prix GT tyres also new cables all round and a new rear derailleur and chain fitted too!
It's ready to go, loads of care/maintenance free miles ahead. I took it out for a last burn today, so will give it a good clean and another check over before the sale. The bike itself is in amazing condition with just a few age related scratches (see photos) the largest are chips to the top coat near the drop outs (again see photos). There is one issue I must note and that is the front brake caliper quick release is jamming, I have sprayed with teflon spray and tried working in, but may need a good soaking? Worst case scenario is that you will have to carry a 5mm allen key to quickly remove front wheel.I would like to keep the smp trk saddle along with the saddle bag, but I will throw in a fizik saddle and if you need a pump I have a lifeline one which I will add as the topeak one has already been removed. Either way happy to adjust accordingly, I will dis-assemble and securely pack for courier. Grab a bargain, as at this price point and for the spec it's hard to beat!
